All private hire vehicles are to hold a Licence
Please check when booking your vehicle that the company can provide you with their registered licence number, this number can be then checked on line or via phone with their LOCAL COUNCIL or VOSA AUTHORITIES

PRIVATE HIRE
The Hire Company must hold a full license as an Operator with their LOCAL COUNCIL or VOSA
The Badge/license must be displayed on vehicles at all times,  
Confirming that sufficient regular checks have been carried out, together with regular MOT inspections, no longer than every 6-Months
Vehicles are to be insured for Hire & Reward purpose. The drivers must display their name / picture badge) confirming they are licensed . The above regulations are for all Private Hire vehicles. 

For the safety of your children please check and do not ignore this information.
Check with your hire company that the company are fully licensed and that they hold the sufficient licences for their vehicles, together with their drivers. You can even ask them to provide you with their license numbers.

Please check the operator is licensed
If the company is NOT licensed, then report them immediately to the police and local authority for the safety of other children.

Don’t be let down and spoil your child’s special prom - check the above is 100% correct for their safety, and your peace of mind. Remember there are companies out there that do NOT follow the LAW and are illegally breaking the law and putting the safety of the passengers at risk.
